Every firm on cpg.vc got here the same way: it was named in a funding round we read in a source article. Nobody paid, and nobody applied. But the profile is about your firm, and you know things about it that the trade press does not print.
What claiming gets you. The mandate fields become yours to edit — cheque size, stage focus, revenue threshold, retail-door expectations, whether you fund inventory, and what you actually want to see in a first email. Most of these are blank on most profiles today, because we will not estimate them. Filling them in is the single most useful thing a fund can do here, and it is free.
What stays as filed. The public-record facts — which rounds you were named in, the dates, the companies, the round count and your position in the index. Those come from sources and stay traceable to them. If one is wrong, that is a correction, and we will fix it.
How to claim. Email claim@cpg.vc from your firm domain, with a link to the profile. Verification is the domain — no call, no meeting, no sales process.
What claiming does not do. It does not move you up the index. Ranking is round count and recency, and it is not for sale. A claimed profile is marked as claimed, which is worth something on its own: it tells a founder the mandate detail came from you rather than from us reading your website.
